1. Who handles your information
Deraedge.com Ltd is responsible for personal information collected through this website for academy enrollment and enquiries. Contact okolochinedu10@gmail.com or our contact page with privacy questions or requests.
2. Information we collect
Enrollment requires your name, email address, and country. If provided, we also receive your phone number, experience, preferred start date, and learning goals. We store your selected program, price, currency, payment reference and status, refund records, and the policy version and time of acceptance.
Contact and partnership enquiries include the information you submit, such as your name, email, message, and any business or proposal details. The server processes network information such as your IP address to limit abuse. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in messages or learning goals.
3. Why we use it
We use information to process enrollment requests, verify payments, arrange course access, answer enquiries, handle refunds and disputes, and maintain transaction records. Processing needed to fulfill your enrollment or respond to a request relies on the relevant contractual steps; required records may also be processed to meet legal obligations. Security and fraud prevention support our legitimate interest in protecting the service, subject to your rights. Where optional processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
Required enrollment details are needed to process your application. Acknowledging this policy does not subscribe you to marketing.
4. Payments and service providers
Paystack processes payments on its own hosted checkout. We send the email address, amount, currency, reference, and program metadata needed to initialize a payment, and verify the result with Paystack. Card details entered on Paystack are not collected by Deraedge's enrollment form. Review Paystack's privacy policy.
Website hosting and email providers process information needed to run the service and deliver enquiries to our support inbox. External fonts and embedded market information, where loaded, may send connection details to Google Fonts or TradingView. These providers may process information outside Nigeria and apply their own privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address a lawful dispute.
5. Browser storage
The payment flow uses browser session storage for checkout references and private retrieval tokens so you can return to your payment status. Contact forms also use browser storage to track submissions. Clearing that storage or changing browsers may remove your ability to retrieve a status directly; support can assist using your reference. Third-party services may use their own cookies or storage.
6. Retention and security
Enrollment, payment, and enquiry records are stored on the server; enquiries may also remain in our support mailbox. Retention depends on providing the service, handling refunds or disputes, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Records are not automatically deleted when you close the browser. Contact us to request deletion or information about retention of your record; information required for lawful obligations or unresolved disputes may need to be retained.
Payment status access uses private retrieval tokens, and payment results are verified on the server. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not share your private retrieval tokens or send passwords or card security codes to support.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable Nigerian law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information; object to processing; or withdraw consent where processing depends on it. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity before acting. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate earlier lawful processing or automatically remove records we must lawfully retain.
8. Age requirement
Academy enrollment is for people aged 18 or older. If you believe someone under 18 has submitted enrollment information, contact us so we can review the record.
